BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
Thank you for considering El Camino Academy as an option for your child´s education. The following are our basic admissions requirements:
- One parent must be a Christian with a commitment in his/her church, and must present a pastor’s letter of recommendation.
- Student applicants must pass the English exam, and the parents must show academic records that meet El Camino’s academic requirements and provide references from any previous schools.
- The family needs to prove their financial state and their ability to meet the school´s financial requirements. These vary according to the time parents invest in Christian ministry and their economic income.
- First consideration will be given to missionary families in accordance with our school philosophy. Native English speakers and ECA families will be given a high priority.
- Students applying for Pre-K must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year they are applying for.
- A basic/intermediate level of English is recommended for the parents.

November 30, 2011 – for families interested in applying for January 2012
For: missionaries, native English speaking students coming from schools within the American system, or students with a high English level. Contact the Admissions Office as early as November 2011.
January 25 and 31, 2012 – for families interested in applying for Pre-Kinder 2012/13
For: families who fulfill the basic requirements. Contact the Admissions Office as early as December 2011.
March 23 and 27, 2012 – for families interested in applying for Kinder to 12th
For: families who fulfill the basic requirements and believe their students meet our English standards for the grade level. Contact the Admissions Office as early as February 2012.
REQUISITOS BÁSICOS DE ADMISIONES
Gracias por considerar El Camino Academy como una opción para la educación de sus hijos. A continuación encontrarán los requisitos básicos del proceso de admisiones:
- Uno de los padres debe ser cristiano evangélico comprometido con su iglesia y deben presentar una carta de recomendación del pastor de su iglesia.
- Los estudiantes que aplican deben aprobar el examen del colegio, presentar los records académicos de acuerdo con los requisitos de El Camino Academy, al igual que la recomendación del colegio anterior.
- La familia debe comprobar que financieramente está en capacidad de responder por los costos educativos estipulados por el colegio. Estos varían de acuerdo al tiempo que los padres invierten en ministerios cristianos y sus ingresos económicos.
- En cuanto a cupos, tienen prioridad las familias misionera de acuerdo con la filosofía del colegio. Igualmente alumnos con inglés nativo e hijos de las familias ECA tienen una alta prioridad.
- Los estudiantes que ingresan a Pre-Kínder deben tener 4 años cumplidos antes del 1º de Septiembre del año en que aplican.
- Es recomendable que los padres tengan un nivel de inglés básico-intermedio.

Familias interesadas en aplicar para Enero del 2012: Noviembre 30, 2012
Para misioneros, estudiantes con inglés nativo, estudiantes que vienen de colegios con sistema educativo americano, y estudiantes con un alto nivel de inglés. Deben contactar la oficina de admisiones en Noviembre 2011.
Familias interesadas en aplicar para Pre- Kinder 2012: Enero 25 y 31 del 2012
Para familias que reúnan los requisitos básicos. Deben contactar la oficina de admisiones a partir del mes de Diciembre del 2011.
Familias interesadas en aplicar para los grados entre Kínder y 12º grado: Marzo 23 y 27 del 2012
Para familias que reúnen los requisitos básicos y que creen que sus hijos tienen el nivel de inglés requerido por el colegio. Deben contactar la oficina de admisiones a partir del mes de Febrero del 2012.
